Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.” (Psalms 20:7 NKJV)

From alarms to armor, we look for every possible means to protect ourselves from the unpleasant things of life. But what we fail to take account for are the things we cannot see and could never have thought of. We become so wrapped in our fear of loss that we cease to live, existing only to increase our list of things to hide from.

That’s not how God made you! He made life to be experienced and enjoyed, even the stuff that’s not particularly enjoyable! But a life lived on God’s terms knows that nothing lasts forever, that eventually the storm does pass. What’s on the other side is what can only be experienced outside of our bunker of fear: Life. Life that can’t always be planned for, but can certainly be embraced because you know that God has everything under control!

To those that don’t know God well enough to trust Him that way, it’s frightening. But those of us that do rest assured in the fact that HE HAS NEVER FAILED YET! Come to Him today, preferably to His House, and reconnect with His power. Trusting in other sources will only reconfirm your addiction to fear and how they’ll let you down! You are loved today!
