But when it pleased God…” (Galatians 1:15 NKJV)

William Henry Harrison has the shortest tenure among American presidents. Sworn into office on March 4, 1841, he died 32 days later. As our ninth president, he was calling for a special session of Congress to enact his financial reforms, but was cut short by an aggressive case of pneumonia. His plans for his political agenda barely outlasted the expiration date of a gallon of milk.

We also live under a false illusion of time. We plan things in life and even for God, without considering God’s time agenda. We desire for God to move on our timetable, bowing down to our demands of importance. But God knows what times and seasons of life are best, coming in when He knows the time is right.

Live in such a way as to hear God’s leading, living in a constant state of expectancy of His moving in any way and at any time. Though we plan our calendars and agendas, always be willing to wait on God! His times for your life are always perfect! You are loved!
