And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?” (Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭30‬ NLT)

As Jesus walked throughout Judea doing His ministry, I believe the issue that left Him scratching His head the most was the ginormous lack of faith He found plaguing God’s people. Hadn’t they been privy to all of the stories of the miracles God performed for Israel? Hadn’t they cut their teeth on the acts of Moses and the visions of Daniel? Was it so hard to believe that God could still do it for them?!

I can only imagine that the Lord still moves about the world and stays puzzled when watching the modern Believer. You and I suffer from the same fractures in our faith that ancient Israel did. And for some of us that have witnessed bonafide miracles firsthand, why do we still struggle for even the simplest of things, like finances, food, or family frustrations? God never changes, but our faith ebbs and flows like changing of the tide.

As you read this, take a moment to remember, like I’ve had to today, that God never changes, He’s never fickle, and His best plans include you in them! God is never worried or scared, so neither should we be! Have a little more than a little faith in Him! You are loved today!
