Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not.” (2 Timothy 4:2 NLT)
In 1999, Vibe magazine predicted that companies in the next millennium would pay people to get tattoos advertising their brands. Joe Tamargo, of Rochester, NY, is a walking billboard, advertising 15 companies on his body with permanent tattoos. The only problem is that most of those groups went out of business years ago. Hope all the pain and money was worth it.
We are also human billboards. As we walk this journey down the Christ Life path, people are watching us. While most people don’t preach sermons from pulpits, we do by what we say, how we act, how we treat others and what we post on our social media accounts. People will judge Jesus and the Bible by how we live, whether we want them to or not. So how’s your sermon today going?!
Don’t be “bad ink” for the Gospel! The Christ Life is not lived when we find it convenient, then temporarily shut down when it’s not. Live the best sermon about how great your God is everyday! Hopeless people are looking for more than an empty expression, they need life! So show them! You are loved today!
