The lips of the wise give good advice; the heart of a fool has none to give.” (Proverbs 15:7 NLT)

Last night, our church heard the powerful testimony of a young man named Justin, who shared how God lead him out of drug addiction into freedom. He spoke of a lasting regret he has, that there are those who are now addicts because he introduced them to drugs. The hope for the future is that they can see his new life and desire it as well.

We are all agents of influence. Our desire, I’m sure, is to spread around good things. But our visible negatives are also on display for others to see, especially in our own homes. How we influence others, good or bad, will be something we will give an account for one day before God! So it really does matter how we influence others!

As you start your week, take a good inventory about how you act and react publicly. Allow the Holy Spirit to show you areas of opportunity that need to change. Then live desiring to impact others for the good! You are loved today! Make a difference!
