If you aren’t the Messiah or Elijah or the Prophet, what right do you have to baptize?” (John 1:25 NLT)

You’ve probably never heard of him, but he’s touched thousands of lives. For decades, Georges Bwelle watched his father suffer, unable to get the medical attention he needed. Now a doctor, Bwelle travels into the African jungles of his native Cameroon nearly every weekend, providing free medical care for those who don’t have access to good health care. “To make people laugh, to reduce the pain, that’s why I’m doing this,” he said.

The man we know of as John the Baptist was not an unknown person, his father being of the priesthood in Jerusalem. These men that asked John this probably knew his Dad, but also knew that John left them to follow a different group. They felt threatened because his informal ministry was getting more attention than their professional ones.

You and Georges Bwelle have something in common: no one knows you and thousands around you are in need. The best ministry is simply finding a need and meeting it. Let God show you how to be the Everyday Hero to your area! Touch lives for Heaven’s sake! You are loved today!
